In search of a versatile design scheme that would grant me numerous habitable spaces, a plethora of potential Zen views, and most importantly, allow me to experiment with additive and subtractive architecture, I realized a heavy staggered grid was exactly what I was looking for. Playing around with different proportions, I realized a double-decker wall was perfect and would provide me with a litany of surfaces to really add life to the façade. Upon finalizing a design concept my next objective was to create an appropriate circulation path to guide all visitors to all the different spaces created by the modules. With the addition of a couple balconies, ideal for social gatherings, the final product really gave off an inviting feel, some what like an adult playground.
